For those of you that don't know I took a 3 week vacation from work and spent all of it in Taiwan.  The trip was relaxing and fun.  I got visit a lot of family & friends that I haven't seen in 2 years and I met my new niece (芯瑜) she is the cutest little baby.  She's currently 5 months old and starting to develop more motor skills.

Needless to say, I want to go back!!!  I miss having a large group of people to see all the time.  It feels lonely in SoCal. 

So now back to the same old -- work, sleep, work, sleep.  If you feel like it drop a line!

My summer interns are leaving me :(

I only have one more intern left :)  I have been the Summer Intern Coordinator for my workplace in charge of planning refinery welcomes, three major events, lunch & learns, unit tours, etc... for twelve interns this summer.  It's been a lot of fun and a lot of hard work.  I've really enjoyed my experience and the experience has really surpassed my own expectations.  It really brings me back to my days as an intern summer of 2004. I'm kind of sad to see them leaving but they have to respectively get back to their schools as the summer comes to an end.  We've had good time this summer.

Other summer stuff:
- Spent a week in Toronto, Ontario for a work technology meeting (I spent the first weekend in Toronto & the second weekend in Montreal, Quebec -- both weekends visiting friends) 
- Went dragon boating :)  It was fun, hopefully can do it again.
- Attended a wedding in NorCal for Jeff & Sharon... it was so beautiful!!!
- Attending Exodus LA more regularly... I think I'm going to try a stronger community in LA. I really miss all my Harvest Berkeley buddies but since I work in LA, I might as well go to church down here.

There is one good thing about summer ending... Football season starts!  Cal Football 2007 Season Opener: #12 Cal (0-0) vs. #15 Tennessee (0-0) on Saturday, September 1 at 5pm in Berkeley, Calif. - California Memorial Stadium.  GO BEARS!
